He is an extremely skilled driver, scoring 100% in his most recent aptitude test. Unfortunately all his driving qualifications are paper based due to issues of scale (his arms are too short to reach the steering wheel so he has never actually driven a car).

Jean-Francois is a soprano and is president of the Tadcaster Male Voice Choir for Embodied Personality Traits. Unfortunately the club is still awaiting its first affiliate member and Jean-Francois is considering leaving after his objections to the recent subs increase were ignored.

Jean-Francois speaks fluent Esperanto and has a degree in linen trousers. He abhors, any act of violence, nationilsed rail services and Bernie Clifton.

He considers his biggest strengths to be his Shakespeare recitals, his personal favourite being King Richard the Third's soliloquy from the bard's play of the same name.

35/365 - Drinking on a school night...

Tonight I had to entertain some business colleagues which involved staying in a hotel and getting very drunk on comapny expenses. Hence the 'this'll do' shot taken with my Blackberry in the hotel room!

I really was thinking forget it, the last thing I need is to take a photograph. But the wife convinced me not to throw it away after the work I've put in up to now. I must remember to iron that shirt before Monday. Joy.

14/365 - Don't go in there!

Finally I got some time for a bit of photography. I tell you what though, this was bloody frustrating! Not sure if I'll want to try it again after all this! First I realised I can't draw for toffee, next I found my big fat head kept getting in the way!!

13/365 - Day 13 - explains a lot!

Just realised it's day 13 of the project which explains a lot! Nothing but bad luck today!

Just thought I'd take a quick picture of the thing that seems to be dicating my life at the moment. Not not the cooker... the time!

Alas, time has beaten me again today and I haven't had a chance to take a decent photograph, despite some decent ideas. Oh well, there's always tomorrow.... yawn..

I walked up to the supermarket tonight and took a half hearted photograph of a statue thinking that would do for tonight, then on the way back, I saw this weird looking urban jungle which had sprouted up in an alleyway behind a shop. I really love the look of it. Nature always manages to reclaim he land in the end I guess.

7/365 - M62 - but nearly no shot at all...

Decided to take this shot on the way home from college. Drove onto the bridge, took out my camera, set it up on the tripod, then realised I'd not put a memory car in - AAARRRGGHH!!!

Fortunately I had a memory card in my phone with just enough space for one photo if I changed the quality from RAW to jpeg!! What an idiot!

Day 6 - I took this in the car park whilst I was waiting to go into college. I would have really liked to hve taken it whilst on the move but I wasn't going to clamp the camera to my bonnet and travel!

I wanted to get a photograph of the bike with the ground going past in blur but didn't quite manage as much blur as I would have liked! I took this on shutter priority at 1/50. In my mind there are four things I could have done to improve the shot:

1. Shot at a slower shutter speed (but as I had to hold the camera near the ground whilst riding the bike, this would inevitably have led to more camera shake)

2. Attached camera to a frame to hold it steady while I used a slower shutter speed (too much faffing)

3. I could have rode the bike faster with the same shutter speed (but wasn't really brave enough to go faster whilst dangling my camera near the ground!)

4. Blurred it in Photoshop (that would have been cheating!).

2/365 - Simon's Terrible Shirt!

Friday is dress-down day where I work and over the last few weeks a little competition has emerged as to who can wear the most horrendous outfit.

The fella in the picture is Simon and he's not only raised the bar, he's burned the pitch and taken the bat and ball! This little number was made by his wife from 'an old towel'. It has that scratchy feel you only get when a really old towel attacks you as you get out of the bath. Not a feeling I'd want to carry around on my back all day, especially if I looked like a box of Cabury's miniature heroes!

10/10 for bravery but much as I like a competition I think I'll sit this one out!

1/365 Can I keep this up?

OK so it's day one of my project and I have a mammoth hill to climb. I so hope I can keep this up, it will be so cool.

The significance of this photograph is that I am so p****d off at apple! I recently updated my i-Tunes (big mistake!) and it has lost the location of all my music files! AARRRGGHH! Tonight I had to re-add all my tunes but I've lost all my play counts :(

Curse you Steve Jobs!!!
